Wednesday's colour - Yves Klein Blue...

I've only recently been reading a lot about Yves Klein  (1928 - 1962) the French artist whose work was part of 'Postwar Abstraction' in Europe.  In 1957 Klein created eleven blue canvases of the same size and named them L'epoca blu, in reference to Picasso's blue period. He used a roller to spread pure powdered pigment onto canvas and resin to set it.

I feel that Yves Klein's non-representational monochromatic works are really relevant for todays economy, fashion and interiors. What do you think?
