We wish you all a very Happy Easter Weekend!!! Hope fully I see some of you at the Kununurra Markets for our very first markets on the 28th af April.

We have been so busy the past few weeks setting up my little office, purchasing new stock and in the next few days we will be uploading new jewellery and other stuff onto the site.. cant wait!!!!:)

I cant believe that we are in 2012, these past few weeks have been so busy for me! My daughter just turned two yesterday, and the end of playing catch ups with friends and family for the holiday period.
Time to start work and as promised a need to deliver new products for my shop.

So far I have been selling Quite a few pairs of my earrings ( made by myself) and bought, as well as  resin and Lucite fun rings  but soon will be releasing in the shop!

True its a very long way from the bustling streets of Melbourne but this little country town holds its own weight in natrual beauty. Check out some of these pics I took of our area..

Looking for inspiration

Our public holiday (Melbourne cup day) was quiet peaceful and rather nice. While HH built a new garden bed the girls and built sculptures with the left over wood and rocks and I took photos. We went 4 x 4 driving on the mountain 2km from our home and discovered beautiful new areas that are recovering from the black saturday fires, there is a wonderful contrast of new growth popping up through burnt trees. In all it was an amazing couple of days just chilling and finding inspiration in all that surrounds us...

My New Green Smoothie

I am only new to the whole green smoothie revolution. From what I've read in this blog and other various sources having one green smoothie a day has wonderful health and healing benefits for the body.

 So on Saturday I started my go green lifestyle with fresh spinach from my garden and made this very yummy, horrid looking smoothie that is delicious! I got the recipe from here and can't wait to try some of the other variations.

Ingredients:

• 1 handful of spinach
• 1 cup of berries, I only had frozen
• 1 banana
• 1 1/2 cups of water

Other news...

I am sticking with the current logo it seems like my new logo looks a little too..."Paintbrush function on windows" so even though I do like the simplicity of my new design I'm going to stay with the current one. Upgrades on the shop front will hopefully be in place by mid December.

Ok. I'm starting to think it might not be a good idea to change my logo. I've had some feedback and most opinions are keep it as is. Would love to hear your thoughts before upgrades happen...

I've been thinking about updating the shop for a while and have decided to go ahead with it. I think it really needs it. So the shop is getting an overhaul and here is a sneak peak of the new logo and a couple of card designs.

So I finally got to the Vienna Art and Design exhibition at the National Gallery of Victoria and what a show. It was one of the most impressive collections I've seen in a while. Definitely a one off show, very inspiring.

I am doing a crash course in photography during the weekend and I wanted to do a bit of research before I went out and bought a camera, so, I went for a visit to you tube and came across these guys. I found it amusing and informative watching Kai Wong review and sometimes torture cameras, he is very funny...

I went and purchased the Canon 550D, I had a quick look over it last night and LOVE it! I just don't know how to use it yet. Will let you know how my course goes!

Oh, while I was on you tube I had to share some good vibes...have a great weekend!

I was given three manequins and instantly knew what I wanted to do with them, this is the start of the first one.

We had the most beautiful weather in the weekend, it was so warm I had ice in my drink such a relief from the cold winter weather. We also managed to do a little landscaping so in all, a lovely couple of days.
